Overview:
Kubota Tractor Corporation's US parts operation was faced with a huge problem. Its existing IT systems for receiving, picking and shipping was going to have its support cut dramatically, to a point where the whole supply chain was threatened. The company had to act fast and it teamed up with Catalyst to provide a solution that would ensure the continued smooth running, efficiency and profitability of the business. Kubota then turned to Catalyst to implement SAP® Console Technology and extend SAP warehouse management capabilities.

Read this case study to learn how by leveraging RF or wireless technology, Kubota has reduced the opportunity for keying errors and has improved the overall efficiency of the warehouses through system-guided work assignments. In addition, because Kubota made the system consistent across all the distribution centers, Kubota can quickly identify stock availability from any of its warehouses in order to fulfill customer orders. This means Kubota can reduce its overall inventory holding by managing stock based on the most appropriate location, while ensuring the customer continues to receive high levels of service and product availability.
